Nick's Tomato Pie Information

If you're wandering through West Palm Beach and craving a slice that feels like it came straight from the heart of New Jersey, Nick's Tomato Pie is the spot that instantly delivers on that promise. Tucked on James L Turnage Blvd, this cozy pizzeria has an atmosphere that blends casual comfort with a touch of old-school charm, the kind that makes you want to settle in for a while with a plate of something cheesy and warm. The moment you step inside, the inviting aroma of fresh-baked dough and simmering tomato sauce sets the tone for an experience that feels more like a neighborhood gem than a chain restaurant. The menu is refreshingly straightforward but thoughtfully crafted, offering a range of pies that cater to both classic tastes and adventurous palates. Their signature tomato pie stands out, with a perfect balance of tangy sauce, melted mozzarella, and a crust that’s crisp on the outside but soft and chewy inside, showing clear attention to traditional techniques. Beyond the pies, you’ll find a selection of sandwiches, salads, and appetizers that complement the main offerings without overcomplicating things, making it easy to pair a fresh side salad with a hearty slice. Service here feels genuine, with staff who seem genuinely happy to guide you through the menu, answer questions about ingredients, or recommend combinations based on what you’re in the mood for, creating a warm and approachable dining experience. While the space itself is casual, it manages to feel lively without being noisy, making it suitable for a quick lunch, a relaxed dinner, or even a small group gathering. Patrons often remark on the consistency of flavor and the generous portions, and it’s easy to see why repeat visits are common-each bite reinforces the sense that Nick’s isn’t just serving pizza, it’s delivering a slice of local culinary pride. Parking and accessibility are convenient for the location, allowing for a seamless visit whether you’re popping in on your own or bringing along family and friends. Overall, dining at Nick's Tomato Pie offers a satisfying mix of nostalgic comfort, quality ingredients, and approachable service that makes it a standout choice among West Palm Beach’s pizzerias, and the reviews reflect a loyal following who appreciate both the food and the welcoming environment.

What People's Say About Place

This review is more about the outstanding service from Nick's bartender than the food itself; I didn't catch her name, but she went above and beyond. I ordered 4 pizzas for my family before boarding our flight. JetBlue ended up starting the boarding process and ending it early. I had to literally give up on waiting for the pizzas and run to the gate once the app told me the doors were closing. As I was waiting in line on the jetway, a JetBlue flight attendant comes walking down with our 4 pizzas which were brought to her by the bartender. Truly a wonderfully unexpected experience!

Some of the best airport food I’ve had! Excellent gluten free pizza, better than any I’ve had at restaurants!! Super clean and quick service! Will definitely be back!

Pizza and drinks inside Palm Beach International airport. Blue Moon, Sam Adams Seasonal, Modelo, Bud Light, and Stella Artois on draft plus a full liquor bar. A variety of pizzas and salads. Breakfast is offered from 7:00am to 9:30am daily.

4 Stars – Great Pizza and Friendly Service! I stopped by Nick’s Tomato Pie at the West Palm Beach Airport and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was great — fresh, quick, and just what I needed before my flight. The staff was welcoming and easy to work with, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I’ll definitely eat here again next time I’m passing through!

Great food, drinks, and service. Reasonably priced. Best option in PBI while waiting for your flight.

Gotta admit, for an airport pizza joint, was pleasantly surprised! Not sure about all the other negative reviews (but some photos suggest this place has been completely remodeled recently - and maybe new management as well). We ordered 3 pies and they were very good! Our waitress was super attentive. Drinks were good too! If you're stuck at the airport (or delayed 5 hours like we were), this is a great place to grab some food and kill some time.

Good friendly service. Awesome bloody Mary extra spicy. Pizza could’ve been slightly more well done but very good. Recommend!

The pizza at Nick’s Tomato Pie isn’t bad considering it’s airport food. I ordered the mushroom pizza and it was actually fairly good. I was also surprised how quick the pizza was ready. The lady taking the orders, though, was quite obnoxious and seemed to have a chip on her shoulder. However, in the end I got a quick, fairly good pizza in an airport, and that’s why I’d recommend this place.
